Interviewer-Videographer (Internship Available)

GOAL OF POSITION:  To gather video records of testimonials from Council constituents, both nonprofit administrators and individual donors. To be used and posted to YouTube and on Council website.

POSSIBLE DUTIES:

  • Work with Program Director and Communications Coordinator to develop appropriate interview questions.
  • Identify appropriate interviewees.
  • Schedule interviews and appointments with previously identified video subjects.
  • Edit and compile recorded interviews into a promotional video, post video on Council website and YouTube.
  • Research/Special projects as needed.
  • Administrative duties as needed.

 QUALIFICATION(S):           

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to video appointments.
  • Interest in video and information gathering.
  • Previous experience with social media usage, particularly youtube preferred.
  • Innovative and creative.
  • Able to meet deadlines.
  • Self-directed.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

TIME COMMITMENT: 3-6 month commitment. Hours per week to be determined. Some meetings during office hours at Council offices in St. Paul required. Flexible daytime availability useful.
