This webinar will provide information about the Accountability Standards and will also provide specific information relevant to nonprofits interested in completing the Accountability Wizard review.
In today's economy, nonprofits need to find ways to stand out and build public trust with potential donors and grantmakers. The Accountability Standards are a great resource to ensure your organization is meeting donor expectations. So how do you measure up? The Accountability Wizard is a tool that offers your nonprofit the opportunity to engage both the board and staff in conversations around key accountability topics and provides access to additional resources to assist the organization in aligning its practices and procedures with the 27 Accountability Standards.
Nonprofits that meet all Standards are publically recognized in the Council’s list of Most Trustworthy Nonprofits and the organization also earns the Meets Standards seal, which serves to assure donors of the commitment your organization has to accountability.
In the webinar we’ll cover:
Overview of the Accountability Standards
Benefits of the Accountability Wizard
Details of completing the Accountability Wizard review
The Accountability Wizard, a service of the Charities Review Council, was created to help nonprofits advance their missions by helping them meet standards of accountability and demonstrate their accountability to the public in the areas of Public Disclosure, Governance, Financial Activity, and Fundraising.
