    CHARITY RESPONSE TO REVIEW:
    Founded in 1982, Casa de Esperanza is rooted in Latina realities and works mobilize to communities to end domestic violence. Across the country, it enhances Latin@s’ access to resources and support, conducts culturally relevant research, advocates for policies responsive to Latin@s and provides training and consultation to organizations working with Latin@s. In the Twin Cities, it shelters and advocates for Latinas and their children, changes community atti¬tudes about domestic violence and facilitates community networks. In 2009, Casa de Esperanza served a total of 10,976 individuals. It also broadened it national work to support healthy Latin@ families and communities through a public policy initiative, headquartered in Washington D.C., and a research center in Atlanta, GA. Casa de Esperanza’s training and consultation initiative served 92 organizations in 32 states, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico
