CHARITY RESPONSE TO REVIEW:
More than five million Americans have Alzheimer's disease, and someone develops the disease every 70 seconds. On any dementia issue, the Alzheimer's Association Minnesota-North Dakota is the first place to turn for comprehensive, easy-to-access information. Started in 1979 by three local women, the Association now has offices in Duluth, Minneapolis, Rochester, St. Cloud, Fargo and Bismarck. Our programs include a 24/7 information helpline, MedicAlert® + Alzheimer's Association Safe Return® for people with memory loss, support groups and education for individuals and families, care consultations for one-on-one support, education for professional caregivers and the community, public advocacy for better care and a cure and funding for ground-breaking research. The Alzheimer's Association believes in being accountable to our donors, the people who use our services and the public. We're pleased to meet the Charities Review Council standards, and we invite you to learn more about us by visiting www.alz.org/mnnd or by calling 952.830.0512.
