    CHARITY RESPONSE TO REVIEW:
Founded in 1971, CommonBond Communities has grown to become the largest nonprofit provider of affordable housing with services in the Upper Midwest. Over the past 38 years, we have sponsored the development of 98 rental housing communities located in 43 municipalities throughout Minnesota (concentrated primarily in the greater Twin Cities metropolitan area), Wisconsin and Iowa. We have earned a national reputation for excellence in developing and managing quality affordable housing while providing customized resident services. Our on-site Advantage Centers meet the most critical needs of residents by offering employment programs, youth academic activities, English language and citizenship classes, and individualized support so that families can move to market-rate rental housing or become homeowners and seniors can live independently for as long as possible. Our organization is proud to have met all the Charities Review Council Accountability Standards. We invite you to learn more about CommonBond Communities by visiting us at www.commonbond.org or contacting us at 651-291-1750. Our Form 990 and other financial statements are available upon request.
