CHARITY RESPONSE TO REVIEW:
Everyday Miracles is an innovative perinatal health focused program founded in 2003 that provides education and support to high-risk expectant mothers. The Everyday Miracles doula program works for increasing access to quality health care for women at highest risk for poor birth outcomes (a doula is a woman experienced in childbirth who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to the mother before, during and just after childbirth). The program focuses on education and support services for these high-risk expectant mothers by providing comprehensive doula support services and culturally sensitive prenatal education with the objectives of improving birth outcomes, parent-infant attachment and breastfeeding skills.
The staff and board of directors of Everyday Miracles is proud to have met all the standards of the Charities Review Council and they look forward to continuing this accountability to the families we serve, the doulas who work so endlessly and the donors and volunteers who commit their time and resources to help us achieve our goals.
