Volunteer Opportunities

Nonprofit Services Intern

Assist with the verification and review of nonprofit information and documents. Gain valuable insight into the nonprofit sector and the role of governance, finance and fundraising. (Currently available for late summer or Fall 2011.)

Interviewer-Videographer (Internship Available)

Engage Council constituents in interviews about Council resources and impact. Gain valuable insight into Minnesota's nonprofit sector.  Expand your social media and marketing skills.

Social Media and Analytics Assistant (Internship Available)

Gain valuable experience in a variety of social and new media activites to build awareness of the Council's programs. (Currently available for late Fall 2011 or early 2012.)

Marketing and Communications Assistant (Internship Available)

Gain hands on marketing experience by assisting in a variety of communication activities to implement the Council's Marketing and Communications Plan. (Currently available for Fall 2011.)

Fund Development Intern

Gain hands on fundraising experience by assisting with the Council's annual fundraising/development activities including our annual giving campaign, grant proposal writing, research and evaluation. (Currently available for late summer or Fall 2011.)

Board Committees

The Charities Review Council regularly engages community members on its board committees. Our committees include Development, Governance and Program and the Cultural Compentency Task Force.  Read more about each committee's strategic charge.

Office Assistant

Gain valuable insight and expeirence in the nonprofit sector and philanthropy.  Use your detail-oriented customer service skills to provide valuable ever-changing office assistance.
