CHARITY RESPONSE TO REVIEW: GNDC is pleased to have met all the standards of the Charities Review Council. We aspire to meet the highest standards of accountability and wish to ensure donors that dollars invested will be used prudently and according to the principles and goals set forth by our organization.
GNDC’s has successfully advanced economic empowerment for thousands of people by creating vibrant commercial destinations in the poorest of neighborhoods. On East Franklin Avenue, our real estate formula has attracted 50+ businesses that employ 500+ people.
With our current project, GNDC aims to catalyze economic empowerment and vitality in the impoverished area of north Minneapolis. A re-energized West Broadway corridor will provide hundreds of new jobs, dramatically improved housing values and significant reduction in crime. The neighborhood will also experience important benefits of family stability, wealth creation for the very poor, and a safer environment for the 18,000 children in the area.
