CHARITY RESPONSE TO REVIEW: The Alliance for Metropolitan Stability is proud to be recognized by the Charities Review Council as meeting all accountability standards. We pledge to uphold our commitment to these standards and welcome questions and comments regarding our organization.
The Alliance is a coalition of organizations advocating for public policies that promote regional equity and community reinvestment in the Twin Cities metropolitan region. We have a rich history of advocacy, public education, and coalitional convening that has helped to trigger major reforms in local and regional land use, housing, urban reinvestment and transit decisions over the last 12 years.
The Alliance is based on the understanding that true stability for the Twin Cities can only be achieved through a comprehensive approach to regional problems. We work with our 21 formal member groups and other allied organizations with the recognition that our metropolitan problems are united through significant intersections of issues, people and places - and that we are more powerful working together toward common goals.
