CHARITY RESPONSE TO REVIEW: For 20 years, OutFront Minnesota has been building a better Minnesota for GLBT and allied people. We are committed to managing our resources with integrity and are grateful for this opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to accountability.
OutFront Minnesota is different than many organizations reviewed here because of our political advocacy. To maximize organizational effectiveness under IRS guidelines, OutFront Minnesota is separated into two related organizations that share staff and resources. OutFront Minnesota is an IRS-designated 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization that advocates for GLBT-supportive laws. OutFront Minnesota Community Services is an IRS-designated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides education and services to the GLBT and allied community. Both organizations have met the standards of the Charities Review Council.
