CHARITY RESPONSE TO REVIEW:
The Diversity Council is pleased to have received the “Meets All Standards” seal from the Charities Review Council for the second 3-year period. We welcome the opportunity to align our governance and operations to best practices in order to effectively serve our community. Since 1989 the Diversity Council has been building a community that is inclusive and welcoming to individuals of all races, religions, colors, genders, physical or mental abilities, sexual orientations, ages, incomes, classes, and national origins. We create and conduct educational programs and collaborate with other groups, businesses, and individuals to develop our community’s capacity to embrace human differences and utilize the varied gifts that people from all backgrounds and experiences bring to the community.
