    CHARITY RESPONSE TO REVIEW:
Since 1951, the Reading Center/Dyslexia Institute of Minnesota has been helping children and individuals with reading disabilities to overcome their learning challenges and succeed. This past year, we provided 8,979 sessions of Educational Therapy to 132 students. We provided over $50,000 in scholarships to children whose families could not afford our services. We trained 30 educators in the Orton-Gillingham approach and outreach presentations, so that more students could be helped. Our donors make this possible. The Reading Center is committed to transparency, and we affirm the process of accountability made accessible to the community through the Charities Review Council. Our students, Educational Therapists, friends, supporters and the community-at-large can be confident that we are guided by ethical standards. We invite you to learn more about the Reading Center by visiting us at www.thereadingcenter.org or by contacting us at 507-288-5271.
