CHARITY RESPONSE TO REVIEW:
This was a great segue into our 20th anniversary. We have tried through the years to be accountable and responsible. “Transparent” is a newer term yet it reflects our desire for clients, funders, volunteers and constituents to know we are who they see and can rely on that. We embraced the process and it helped us work towards improving what we’re doing. It would have been easy to relax after twenty years. It was great to work towards industry Standards that encouraged us to do better and then be rewarded publicly when the work was finished. There are many sanctions for not doing well; the Seal is an encouragement and reward for doing well. We will continue to provide excellence in conflict resolution services and will keep in mind the Standards set by the Council.
