    CHARITY RESPONSE TO REVIEW:
Vail Place is proud to have met all the standards set out in the Charities Review Council’s Accountability Wizard. We appreciate the opportunity this has afforded us to evaluate our existing standards of accountability, and are especially proud of the fact that we can say those standards were already rigorous. Vail Place has always held community as a core value. Building a sense of community for the disenfranchised men and women with mental illness whom we serve; and returning those men and women to the broader community as valued and productive citizens. Dignity, respect, inclusiveness, diversity, and collaboration have been guiding principles in our work over our 25-year history; principles we could not honor without an open dialogue with the broader community. Our thanks to the Charities Review Council for providing this additional tool for area nonprofits to remain responsive to the public that we serve.
