CHARITY RESPONSE TO REVIEW: More than five million Americans have Alzheimer’s disease, and nearly 50 percent of those 85 years old and older are affected. On any dementia issue, the Alzheimer’s Association Minnesota-North Dakota is the first place to turn for comprehensive, easy-to-access information. Started in 1979 by three local women, the Association now has offices in Duluth, Minneapolis, Rochester, St. Cloud, Fargo and Bismarck. Our programs include a 24/7 information helpline, Safe Return® for people with memory loss, support groups and education for individuals and families, care consultations for one-on-one support, education for professional caregivers and the community, and public advocacy for better care and a cure. The Alzheimer's Association believes in being accountable to our donors, the people who use our services and the public. We're pleased to meet the Charities Review Council standards, and we invite you to learn more about us by visiting www.alzmndak.org or by calling 952.830.0512. | | | NON-CASH DONATIONS
