CHARITY RESPONSE TO REVIEW:
Lakes Area Youth Service Bureau (YSB)has been working on behalf of youth and families for 33 years. LAYSB strengthens family and parent/child relationships through counseling support and parenting resources. We provide fun, educational,safe and supervised activities during non-school hours. We empower youth through leadership and work activities, and give youth offenders a chance to learn from their mistakes, make amends to the victim and community and restore their self-worth. All these outcomes and more are possible because we as a community are working together to improve the lives of the youth and families we serve.
Our thanks and appreciation goes to the Charities Review Council and its Accountability Wizard for giving us an important tool with which to demonstrate to our supporters and participants that we are good stewards of the funding and resources we receive.
