CHARITY RESPONSE TO REVIEW: Ronald McDonald House Charities, Upper Midwest is not a fee-for-service organization and is dependent upon public support for annual operating expenses. While we request, but do not require, our families to donate $15 per night, our actual indirect room costs are $136 per night and between 30-35% of our families are not able to make any donation. Therefore, we rely on an active fundraising and administrative staff to raise approximately 82% of our $3.2 million annual operating budget to support the variety of programs offered by our charity. | | | NON-CASH DONATIONS
