CHARITY RESPONSE TO REVIEW:
Tree Trust programs provide hands-on experiences that help at-risk youth and adults move toward self-sufficiency and volunteers learn new skills in leadership and community forestry. In return volunteers and trainees complete significant landscaping and forestry projects that have a lasting benefit for all. Since 1976, when Tree Trust was founded, more than 50,000 trainees and volunteers have completed landscape and construction projects in hundreds of parks and planted thousands of trees.
