CHARITY RESPONSE TO REVIEW: ICA serves the communities of Deephaven, Excelsior, Greenwood, Hopkins, Minnetonka, Shorewood
and Woodland. Our member congregations, other faith-based organizations, individuals, businesses
and civic groups at large provide ICA with generous financial support and food donations. This makes
it possible for ICA to continue on our mission each day “to assist our neighbors in meeting emergency
needs”. ICA’s many services include emergency food, emergency financial assistance, holiday
programs, transportation for seniors to medical appointments, and over 20,000 referrals to other
agencies.
ICA clients include the working poor, the unemployed and underemployed, those facing
homelessness, senior citizens on fixed incomes, those faced with unexpected expenses, and
middle-income singles and families all striving for self-sufficiency. Many come for assistance for food.
Others need emergency financial assistance for housing, car repairs, utility bills, or bus
tokens, prescriptions, etc. ICA also continues to assist seniors in the community with transportation to
medical appointments and other resources for other assistance they may need. | | | NON-CASH DONATIONS
