CHARITY RESPONSE TO REVIEW: The board, management and staff of RESOURCE, Inc. commit ourselves to continue to meet the standards of the Charities Review Council of Minnesota and of the many other local and national agencies that accredit the kind of work we do.
Last year, RESOURCE benefited our community by helping 15,761 individuals who were working hard to discover their potential and achieve their dreams:
· 3,479 laid-off workers and other unemployed or underemployed adults seeking employment
· 6,820 parents on welfare working toward self-sufficiency
· 673 "at-risk" youth struggling to survive and thrive
· 1,083 adults with disabilities or other barriers to employment seeking jobs and training
· 1,456 individuals grappling with substance-abuse problems--most with a history of relapse and many with prison records
· 2,250 adults with a mental illness living and participating actively in the community.
The 23,852 children of those served also benefited indirectly from their parents’ success in discovering their potential and achieving their dreams.
We welcome questions regarding our organization, our services, and our impact on the community. | | | NON-CASH DONATIONS
