CHARITY RESPONSE TO REVIEW:
Since 1939, the Mental Health Association of Minnesota (MHAM) has pursued justice and recovery for individiuals with mental illnesses through out Advocacy and Education Programs. We envision a community in which individuals with mental illnesses: have the knowledge to detect mental illnesses early in their onset, are familiar with an array of resources available for treatment of mental disorders, have full access to treatments that are appropriate and useful to them, are encouraged and supported by the public perception of help-seeking as a positive behavior, and experience equal rights at all times.
