CHARITY RESPONSE TO REVIEW: Family & Children’s Service, founded in 1878, has been serving families and children for over 130 years. We are committed to standards of accountability by aligning our fundraising methods with the prevailing ethical practices of the Charities Review Council, National Association of Fundraising Executives, National Council of Planned Giving and the Minnesota Planned Giving Council. Our Gift Acceptance Policy (governed by the Board of Directors) provides opportunities for individuals and organizations to make planned gifts for our work and to enhance our financial stability. Family & Children’s Service continues to move forward its mission of building strong families, vital communities and capable children by helping people solve problems, prevent problems and change community conditions in which they live. Our strategic plan can be viewed on our website. To learn more about our organization, please visit us at www.everyfamilymatters.org or call us at (612) 341-1612. | | | NON-CASH DONATIONS
