CHARITY RESPONSE TO REVIEW: STC is recognized as a leader in theatre production and education for children and youth. Since we were founded in 1984 we have significantly broadened the reach and scope of our programming in an effort to meet the varied needs of children and youth in the community. We aim to foster an appreciation of the arts, remain accessible to diverse populations, and realize the intrinsic value the arts have to offer to a child’s well-being and development.
The board and staff of STC are acutely aware of the powerful impact we have on every child who comes through our doors, and is committed to carrying on STC’s mission and broadening the reach of its programs, it is through the continued generosity of our contributors that we are able to do this. We are committed to operating with integrity and organizational accountability. We voluntarily participated in the Charities Review Council’s Accountability Wizard review and are pleased that we have met all Accountability Standards.
