Meets Standards Seal
Only organizations that have participated in the Accountability Wizard and have met all standards are granted the use of the Meet Standards seal. The seal is the single-most visible representation of an organization’s commitment to accountable and ethical practices.

The “Meets Standards” seal can be used in various marketing and promotional materials such as Web sites, fundraising materials, newsletters, brochures, annual reports and stationery. 

Smart Givers Network
Nonprofit organizations have the opportunity to build a presence on the Council’s Smart Givers Network web site, a developing and growing community of informed givers. The online searchable Giving Guide helps informed givers identify causes and organizations that match their interests and values. The Giving Guide is also published three times a year in the Council’s printed newsletter, distributed to almost 20,000 subscribers.

Self-evaluation for Accountability
The Accountability Wizard is a voluntary on-line accountability “check-up” designed to help nonprofits easily learn more about accountability and transparency. The Council serves as educator by providing tools and resources to nonprofits to meet and maintain Accountability Standards. The Council works with nonprofit organizations to make any necessary improvements, where needed, to meet standards. 

By engaging the board of directors in accountability issues, the Accountability Wizard helps the organization further its goal of transparency on a more internal level, thereby helping the organization achieve long-term success.
