Served more than 500 youth at our Ober Community Center. Provided 181 men/women with academic assistance and life-skills coaching in our LifeNet Learning Center. Assisted 46 individuals through WorkNet, UGM's career development program. UGM also made great strides in meeting these sub-goals: Identify UGM Opportunities for Minneapolis-UGM partnered with local ministries to offer children's programs, and an educational program for women, food distributions, community barbeques, and other events. In 2011, this outreach provided meals and activities for more than 1,600 individuals. Bethel Hotel Case Management-In 2011, the Mission developed Support Services, a program which offers case management to men living in the Bethel Hotel. Clients are connected with the resources needed to develop relational and spiritual support systems, address physical and mental health care needs, develop appropriate life-skills, and find safe, affordable housing. Expand Participation in Education & Employment-The Mission's expanded support services also resulted in increased numbers of Bethel Hotel clients accessing UGM's education and employment programs.
