Accomplishments
Our MN Collaborative area worked with over 40 community partners and distributed over 129 hours of programming.
tpt produced and broadcast 50 episodes of Almanac and 16 episodes of Almanac At the Capitol.
tpt hosted the 25th Anniversary event for Almanac with over 800 guests. We also hosted a Family Fun Day at Como Park with over 7,500 guests.
tpt delivered 4 national broadcast premieres in 2010 and launched MN Original, a weekly arts show funded by the Legacy Sales Tax Amendment funding.
We added more than 500 programs to the MN Video Vault.
Tpt also developed a new three year strategic plan and recruited and hired three new executive positions to lead our organization transformation.
tpt was named by our employees as one of the top places to work in MN.
Current Goals
tpt intends to continue its investments in our core services and invest in new initiatives aligned with the strategic plan.
The core efforts include continued operation of our multi-channel broadcast service, leading thoughtful education and discourse around Minnesota's politics through Almanac, Almanac at the Capitol and live coverage of legislative sessions, continuing the work of our MN Collaborative team partnering with hundreds of non-profits to assist them in using the media to further their mission and purpose and continuing to document and celebrate arts and culture in Minnesota through the use of the Legacy funding.
Our new investments will include additional focus in serving children and their caregivers, deepening involvement with audiences age 50+ and creating opportunities to engage the Net Generation audience. We will also find ways to increase our operating revenue, deliver savings in operating expenses and expand and deepen critical external relationships.

Our audience reflects the full diversity of the communities we serve.
