Accomplishments
Children, teens and adults with physical and developmental disabilities benefit by gaining greater independence, improved skills, increased self-esteem and better socialization through participation in our accessible, inclusive camping programs - both day and resident camps; summer camp and winter camp - weekend respite offered at two sites year-round, hippo therapy and therapeutic horseback riding and escorted travel programs.
Current Goals
Our goals are to benefit children, teens and adults with physical, developmental and learning disabilities and their families through a variety of accessible programs at our five camp program centers, respite, travel and related programs. We work to offer the unique benefits of our specialized programs to 4,000 underserved clients with any disability from all over Minnesota and the surrounding area annually and to provide program fee assistance when needed.
