In 2010, SAYFSM served 205 individuals including 75 children/youth and 130 adults. Of those served, 100% were first generation Africans from 12 different countries who resided in the Twin Cities metro area. The largest populations served identified as Oromo and Ethiopian.
Current Goals
1. Promote activities that positively impact the health of the African community, and 2. Provide African immigrants and refugees with the education, support, and resources they need to reach their full potential.
