Current Goals
*Implement women's health sessions at all locations. *Implement clinic session for gastro-intestional services. *Partner with the Ronald McDonald dental van. *Expand the work of the SMHC Board Quality Committee and SMHC Patient Care Committee to include: Reconfigure Policy Template, Clarify Medication Dispensing Policy, Standardize Protocols for Standing Orders, Utilize ICSI for Standards of Care, Identify Adult Preventative Care Services, Develop Documentation Policies, Reformat Documentation Tools, Standardize Medical Records Order. *Develop and present a seminar on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act for SMHC staff, volunteers and interested community guests. *Develop and implement SMHC volunteer orientation and personnel policy manuals. *Redesign the Healthy Connections program to decrease Emergency Room utilization by uninsured patients.
