A marketing plan was developed which will be implemented in 2013. We evaluated our staffing structure and identified tools needed for staff to perform their jobs in order to best support the needs of victims of domestic abuse. We have identified additional needs for volunteers for both short term and long term opportunities.
Current Goals
To expand outreach and educational efforts ("Ro Be Seen in 2013") To maintain current assets and generate new funding resources. To recruit, train and support staff and volunteers who represent the diversity of the community.

From the Charity Southern Valley Alliance for Battered Women is the ONLY agency serving victims of domestic violence throughout all of Carver and Scott counties. We have been working to eliminate violence in the lives of women and children since 1982. We are proud to meet all of the standards of the Charities Review Council and look forward to continuing to demonstrate our accountability to the women and children we serve, the community at large and the donors and volunteers who commit their time and resources to help us achieve our mission.
