||We are licensed and inspected by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. We also undergo an annual monitor visit by the Minnesota Department of Health and Minnesota's Office of Economic Opportunity related to the distribution of our commodity foods.

Over the last year, Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank rescued and distributed 4.6 million pounds of nationally and regionally donated food and grocery product, the equivalent of 3.7 million meals, to 120 non-profit programs and approximately 44,000 people in need throughout NE Minnesota (St. Louis, Carlton, Lake and Cook) and NW Wisconsin (Douglas, Bayfield, Ashland and Iron) counties.
Our goal is to rescue and distribute 4.7 million pounds of nationally and regionally donated food, the equivalent of 3.8 million meals, for our 120 non-profit partners and approximately 44,000 people in need throughout NE Minnesota and NW Wisconsin.
