Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank fed over 40,000 in-need residents of NE Minnesota and NW Wisconsin last year. We did this by rescuing and distributing 3.4 million pounds of nationally and regionally donated food (enough food for 2.7 million meals) to 140 non-profit agencies and to people in need directly.
Current Goals
Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank's current goals are to: 1. Increase our sources of food and funds to serve the hungry of our region. 2. Ensure our capacity to store, transport and distribute an increased volume of food for the hungry of our region. 3. Mobilize the public on the issue of hunger.
