Accomplishments
Directly supported Minneapolis VA Medical Center's investigators with over $100,000 in VA-approved grants. The foundation also monitors all monies spent by VA grant recipients, performs human resource administiration for more than 50 research and administrative research assistants and oversees VA compliance.
Current Goals
Our organization will continue to build its own capacity to identify and assist VA investigators with their research needs while remaining efficient in its operations to meet the VA research and education mission. The foundation will also continue developing its governance practices and implement a standard conflict of interest statement to be applied to all member investigators, board members and employees.
