The purpose of the MSAB Foundation is to raise funds to enhance the education of the students at the Minnesota State Academy for the Blind and to help them achieve their full potential.

From the Council Even though Minnesota State Academy for the Blind Foundation had three consecutive years of unrestricted net asset losses, in 2008 the loss was less than 2%, which meets the Council's Financial Health standard.

Accomplishments
The MSAB Foundation successfully funded and completed installation of a bike path and obstacle course for use by MSAB students.
Current Goals
The MSAB Foundation approved funding for classroom equipment to enhance vocational learning, mathematics instruction, music and performing arts experiences, and physical education with the installation of a climbing wall.
