Collected nearly 180,000 units of blood from over 100,000 volunteer donors, potentially saving over 500,000 lives because each unit of blood can be divided into three components: red blood cells, plasma, and platelets. Added 24,200 first-time donors. Collected over 22,000 units of platelets from 3,300 apheresis donors to help save the lives of leukemia and other cancer patients, transplant recipients, and people suffering from severe hemorrhaging or bleeding disorders.
Continue to grow our services to better meet the changing needs of our community; to provide a safe and stable blood supply to patients in need; to provide a positive and rewarding experience to our generous blood donors; and continue to be a leader in blood services.
