Supported 2,197 individuals facing significant barriers due to poverty, disability, poor health and/or immigrant/refugee status in securing employment and economic opportunity achieving job placement and job retention results, by population served, with average wages from $9.80 to $10.62.
Supported 1,381 children, with 1,208 parents and other adult caregivers, in improving their health, welfare, educational and developmental progress. Achieved demonstrated impact of 92% and greater on developmentally appropriate indicators such as ASQ and ASQ:SE and a 97% and greater results for parents/primary caregiver participants per Indicators of Positive Parenting.
Provided therapy services to 3,014 low income and at-risk children and adults with reliable access to high quality, effective speech, language and occupational therapies and resources with 90% success rate in achieving functional and developmental improvements.
Support 1,855 individuals in securing employment and economic opportunity for individuals facing barriers achieving job placement and job retention results for all populations served of at least 50% up to 75% and average wages of $8.00 and greater.
Support 1,260 children through early childhood and parent resources in advancing the health, welfare, educational and developmental progress of children within the family unit as measured through age and program appropriate evaluation tools and standards.
Provide 3,000 low income and at-risk children and adults with reliable access to high quality, effective speech, language and occupational therapies and resources so that they are able to achieve functional and developmental improvements.
Community or Constituency Served
Our clients have multiple, complex and intertwined needs. Examples of the populations we serve: 1) Families overcoming poverty and unemployment resulting from factors such as lack of education, violence, persistent health or addiction issues and other trauma. 2) Families involved with Child Protection and county human services. 3) Legal immigrants and refugees who have no American education or previous job experience in America. 4) The neighborhoods served by our Families Together Preschool have the highest percentage of poverty and child abuse/neglect in Ramsey County.
Geographic Area Served
We serve the entire Twin Cities’ metropolitan area, along with serving greater Minnesota through our Minnesota Hands & Voices (MNHV) and employment programs.
