89% of displaced homemakers and 100% of women in transition met their self-determined plan for self-sufficiency. Additionally, 92% of displaced homemakers and 97% of women in transition were successful in attaining both pre-employment and life skills with the assistance of trained peer counselors.
Current Goals
In an effort to empower women to reach the long-term goal of self-sufficiency, Life-Work Planning Center will continue to work with each of the women served by the program to attain the pre-employment & personal skills necessary to set measureable personal goals and attain the job-search skills required to conduct a successful job search.
