Accomplishments
Leadership and Community Development Program - Provide leadership training, grant making, technical assistance and planning to improve the health of communities, our environment and nonprofits. Grants provide assistance to charitable and other non-profit organizations. Forty groups were trained, including 1,044 individuals. Total Expense $1,898,989 includes grants of $787,561; net amount $1,111,428.Helps communities achieve their plans through business and grant investments that strengthen the region's economy, job quality and utilization of technology. A loan portfolio exists to provide financial assistance for the startup and expansion of businesses. Total Expense $1,150,680 includes grants of $218,600; net amount $932,080.Provides insight into emerging issues affecting the Foundation's region and increases awareness of the Foundation, its programs, donor services and opportunities. Four publications of "IQ", a free magazine, were issued.Resources utilized for community-based projects, studies, seminars.
