Family Pathways Community Impact in 2011: Basic Life Services: Generated and distributed 1.7 million pounds of food for local families and individuals experiencing poverty. Senior Services: Provided programming to facilitate the continued independence and wellness of over 215 seniors and their families. Youth Services: Engaged 900 youth in safe, nurturing opportunities that spur their personal growth. Assisted 14,000 individuals and families access personal advocacy and resource and referral assistance for the life issues they face. Recruited and directed 1,000 volunteers giving 57,755 hours of service to help people meet their basic needs.
Current Goals
In 2012, Family Pathways, with our communities, will: Generate 1.8 million pounds of food per year for local families and individuals experiencing poverty. Recruit and direct 1,100 volunteers giving 63,500 hours of service to help people meet their basic needs. Provide programming to facilitate the continued independence and wellness of over 250 seniors and their families. Assist 15,000 families per year access personal advocacy and resource and referral assistance for the life issues they face. Engage 1,000 youth in safe, nurturing opportunities that spur their personal growth. To make these goals possible, by the end of 2012 our communities will use our stores to generate $1.11 million by donating goods, volunteering, and shopping.
