Accomplishments
Community Health Charities was able to reach 180 partnering companies, with approximately 11,000 employees participating in our donor and chronic illness programs raising over $2.9 million to advance research, education and support services for chronic illness in our community. Through our HealthMatters at Work program we reached over 350 employees through some of the over 60 topic-specific health education modules. Through our Volunteer program entitled the Hero Project we had over 39 partnering companies participate in onsite and offsite group activities. Through these activities over 1,600 volunteer hours were completed.
Current Goals
Our overall goals for the funding period are to expand our base of partnering companies in Minnesota, collaborate with them to achieve their employee health awareness initiatives and goals for employee engagement and charitable giving. We aim to assist donors in deepening their connection with health causes they care about via participation in health education seminars and volunteerism. The ultimate goal is to increase the number of employees who give to raise additional dollars for the critical research and education needed in areas such as cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, leukemia, etc. Objectives or ways in which you will meet the goal(s) for the funding period: o Build and execute on a new revenue growth strategy that will provide a more focused approach to prospect segmentation and prioritization o Create a client retention strategy with monitoring tools to ensure a steady level of donor dollars o Host a business summit for employers, including current and prospective partnering companies, focusing on chronic illness awareness and nationally recognized best practices in employee wellness and engagement. o Expand brand recognition and awareness o Expand our Health Matters at Work program to keep up with increasing demand. o Increase the number of locally produced webinars in order reach a broader audience.

Community Health Charities serves those affected by chronic illness. Communith Health Charities partners with businesses, government and nonprofit organizations to education, research, and provide support services for those affected by chronic illness as well as health information.
