Accomplishments
Camp Fire Minnesota provided comprehensive youth development services to 1,511 youth, ages 5-18, in the Twin Cities through its club and camp programs in 2011. As a result of participating in Camp Fire programs, youth gain academic and social skills that prepare them for the future. Camp Fire youth achieved the following assets: -80% demonstrate skills to resolve conflict nonviolently -80% place a high value on helping the environment -87% demonstrate knowledge of and comfort with people of different cultural, racial and ethnic backgrounds -90% feel they have control over “things that happen to me” -87% have skills needed to plan ahead and make life choices -83% improve or maintain a positive attitude toward school or learning

Camp Fire Minnesota's 2013-2015 Strategic Plan goals include: 1) Set the standard for high quality and inclusive youth development programs. 2) Connect more youth to the power of nature at Camp Tanadoona and Camp Bluewater. 3) Prepare more youth for success in school and life through out-of-school-time programs. 4) Boldly shape and share Camp Fire Minnesota’s powerful story. 5) Increase financial resources and organizational capacity to fuel Camp Fire Minnesota’s growth.
